20k demonflame stacks?

so i was looking at the numbers, and apparently ming's ring can go up to -27% max life, meaning -54% from 2 rings, and this means only 46% left to zero, meaning with ingenuity belt 83% it'll be about 0% life left. now, we don't want it to be 0 (since i'm not sure how the game would handle it lol), and probably not 1 either (since demon form ends when it reaches 1), but with 2hp one flame will cost 0.01hp, and so with, say, 200 life regen you can support 20k demon stacks.
so the question is, will it work, or am i missing something? that gear will cost about 60divs, but it should be able to literally oneshot (i.e. not just "kill really quickly") absolutely everything. the only problem it'll take 5+ hours to get to 20k stacks lol.

Short answer: No it wont work, yes you're missing something.

I believe GGG implemented a patch in early December causing Demonform to have a minimum life loss per second per stack of 1 hp. For some reason, they chose not to include this information in the tooltip. As a result, any reduction of life below 200hp will not reduce life loss further.

thanks, i actually already figured it out myself by testing (luckily without spending 60divs on it).
