Suggestion - Please make it so that the mine cart in the delve only moves when the player is nearby

... Kind of like how the fuel tanks work in the beacon map in chapter 6. At lower levels it is often difficult to keep up with it as monsters will often get in the player's way. Then at higher levels the sulphite no longer spawns because the player is 10 or more levels over the level of the node. Some alternatives would be to just make it so that the player can walk through monsters when in the delve, or make it so that if the player is low on sulphite and does not have enough to reach any nodes then sulphite deposits would have an increased chance (at least 1 in 5) of spawning in maps the players is in.

Ähhhhhm, that is exactly why the cart is always moving. It should be at least a little challenging and not be completely boring! lool

Rather than difficult I should have said impossible. If the player was able to move through the monsters to keep up with the cart instead of being blocked by them than then I may have been able to keep up.

Unfortunately by the time I was able to keep up with the cart I was over level and the sulphite didn't spawn in the delve any more and the azurite nodes only seemed to give me several azurite, always less thyan 10. But then I've only explored down to depth level 3.

Another nice improvement would be to make it so that if the player dies before reaching the next node then no sulphite would be consumed.
You can use phasing in POE1. The easiest way to get it is to equip the flask and you will be able to charge through the monsters.

Sulphite never spawned in Delve. You have always had to acquire Sulphite in campaign or maps, where the amount gained is based on the area level, regardless of depth you've reached in Delve.

But when looking at the delve map the various nodes will say something like "Contains 24 Sulphite", but when I show up there is no Sulphite because I am to high level. Likewise when going to azurite nodes the only azurite I get is a few splinters.

No, the Node says "Cost: XY Sulphite" which is the amount the cart needs to travel. The Nodes also say "Contains Z" which can be a bunch of different types to stuff. Yet it will never provide Sulphite.

Sulphite must be farmed in maps.

Rewards of the nodes visited scale with the depth you reach, but so does the monsterlevel.

Sorry, when looking at the map I see you are correct. It seems I have to pay better attention...
