I can't use an item

Good evening everyone, I'm having a problem with PoE 2, and I don't know if anyone else is having the same difficulty.

I have a character of the warrior class, Warbringer. I want to use a two-handed Mace, and when the item requirement (weapon only) is more than 120str I can't use it, even though I have much more than that, could anyone tell me what might be happening?
