Died in Trials of Sekhemas, didn't get my coin back

I died on the last boss of Trials of Sekhemas just as I killed the boss, as the loot dropped. After which I had to return to the entrance like normal, but Balbala didn't give me the option to get my coin back to retry. And after staying there for a bit it crashes me with either a texture load error, or a buffer error.
