Expedition Vendors item upgrade bug
Hello,
I believe this is a bug but I'm not completely sure, but it definitely seems to not be working as intended. ![]() As can be seen in the image, even though it says it will remove the modifier with the lowest level, what is highlighted is most certainly not the lowest tier. From that text I would understand it removes the lowest TIER modifier, but it's not doing what it's supposed to do. Hopefully this will be fixed as this is the only system bearing any resemblance to crafting so far. Last bumped on Feb 21, 2025, 7:14:53 AM

" Hey man, thanks for the reply! Wait, what? Is that an actual thing? So where exactly is this LEVEL mentioned, where can I find this? I've seen no mention in-game of such a thing!? What is even the point of having that, seems like overcomplication for no reason to me. |

This craft has worked like this since the introduction of Expedition in PoE 1 over 3 years ago. These levels mean from what item level a specific tier can appear. That is, it is present in the game all the time, not only from the Expedition.
Modifier levels can be viewed on poe2db or craftofexile. Also, the expedition interface itself shows which modifier it will interact with. This may not be obvious to new players, but PoE is designed in such a way that many mechanics are explored by the community on their own. Last edited by seaman#4993 on Feb 20, 2025, 11:31:24 AM

" I appreciate you for taking time to answer! I did some digging myself in the meantime and realized the same thing you're saying, but I most likely couldn't have done so without you mentioning the level in the previous post which I could cross-reference with the levels at which different tiers appear. It is not self explanatory or obvious at all. Even though the system may have been introduced a while ago, I didn't play PoE1 beyond a few hours and I didn't know. Obviously the highlighting made it clear, it just didn't make sense why. I was even aware of the levels at which different tiers appear, it just didn't click that it was about that level. I understand now. So thanks for the clarification! All the best, cheers! |
