Is Zalamarth still bugged?

My friend, witch lv 27 in titan grotto, had 2.8k EHP with his grim feast up, got ONE SHOT by a dagger attack. Positive he didnt fall off platform, or anything like that. Literally just full to dead on a single dagger swipe. Seems absolutely INSANE if that is his intended damage output for a level 27 zone. This guy was majorly twinked out with huge ES pieces. Seems unfair if intended. How is a non twinked player supposed to have a chance?
