Corruption Alter Act 3 Cruel

So I reached the corruption alter in act 3 cruel in Jiquani's Sanctum and figured I'd gamble on an item.

Well I clicked on my equipped shield then clicked on the corruption alter and my shield disappeared. I'm also no longer able to interact with the alter.

Supper disappointed :(
It was a good shield

Edit: I'm also no longer able to interact with the portal to town or checkpoints.

Edit 2: Also I tried screenshotting the bug report number but it doesn't appear in my screenshot folder in my PoE2 documents folder.

The bug report number is 3,409,155,548

Edit 3: After exiting the game and restarting the game the shield was attached to my cursor on start and I was able to equip it. The alter is also active again.
