Patient Barrier Broken?

Is it me or is PATIENT BARRIER (+60% Increased Maximum Energy Shield) not working?
Whether I add/remove the node, my total ES remains unchanged. I tried logging in/out - in case it was a visual bug, but...seems broken.
If I remove an adjacent node (+15% increased Maximum Energy Shield), my total values are adjusted.

Nope. I only have 2,900 ES and no anointments.

So embarrassing. I swapped to an amulet with great stats and it has Patient Barrier on it.
