Support Skill Bug - Recommended Support Gems Not Working

Hi, I ran into a strange issue today where I was socketing an empty slot into the skill Charged Staff, I wanted to see what gems I could use so I right clicked a level 3 support gem and went to the recommended screen. Everything was grey and while some gems do state they are already in use, ALL gems that CAN be slotted into Charged Staff which I do not have equipped are also grey and say "- This support can't be socketed into this skill". I also checked that this is not an issue with attributes.

In the picture below, you can see there are no gems slotted into my Charged Staff skill, however all recommended gems are grey. And I have made sure to not be using the Persistence support gem.

Further to this, I had Persistence in my stash and can slot this support into the skill okay when not using the Support Gem interface.
