Chat box for console

We need get the chat box fixed everytime I type in a different group it always sends to local then I have to go back on the chat get my last chat back up then press party group or wherever it needs to go and send the message again. I would like to see it save every time you use a different chat group as I’m not always talking in local 9/10 times and I have to send chats twice. Not a game breaking bug but a subtle one that annoys me.
