Every server is currently crashing and spiking latency through the universe. Huge problem and no one can play right now. What is going on?

Same happening for me. East Coast US located and tried to connect through DC, Texas, California, and Amsterdam. Large amount of latency and disconnected within 2 minutes of login. Have disconnected out about a dozen times in the last 20 minutes. I've checked my internet connection and my ping is good for every location I've tested outside of POE servers.
