I just login and the game paused every 1 second. I cannot play

I had the same issue. Mostly when playing with WiFi, since i switched to cable connection, the problem is gone. Maybe there is something with your connection.

Hi,
This occurs when you have very high latency. Make sure you are on the gateway closest to your location and use an ethernet connection if you aren't already. | |

I have started experiencing this issue only recently, before that it was semi common to get disconnected with progress rollback, London realm shows latency spikes every few seconds which causes the game to pause.
Switched to Paris realm just now and all is fine in regards to the latency spike issue. |

The fault is not on the player's side but on the game's side. I have the same problem. Since the beginning of the season the game has been unplayable. Every 2 seconds the game stops in one place and the ping jumps to even a thousand. This problem did not exist before. I play other games such as Battlefield and there are no delays and the ping is stable, so the fault is not on my internet's side.

" Well yes, but not directly on you as you have no control over the hops your connected device takes to the server it wants to reach. As the PoE servers are not the same as any other gaming server, it IS a internet problem. The only question is how it is solved when it is not strictly speaking a server problem (because this would affect every single player), or a player problem (this would affect a certian pool with identical hardware at fault). Is it up to GGG to get in touch with the ISP? Or is it up to the ISP to get in touch with GGG? |
