Crafting Bench - “Four Linked Sockets” only crafted 3 linked sockets

In Crafting Bench, I used “Four Linked Sockets” recipe (5x Orb of Fusing, 5x Vaal Orb), on a 6 socketed Kintsugi, the crafting result was 3 links. I crafted using the same Four Linked Socket again, it gave me the same 3 Links again (the same 3 link pattern remained the same, the currency was consumed.)

Then, I tried to use Two Linked Socket sockets recipe, the craft result was also 3 linked sockets, this time the link pattern was changed.

I wasted 15x Orb of Fusing, 15x Vaal Orb for buggy crafting in total.

I intended to craft 6 linked sockets, but I’m stuck now.

Please advise is there any work around? Is my Kintsigi bugged?

I don't know what may be going wrong for you in linking your unique, but you may wish to re-post this in the Path of Exile 1 Bug Reports Forum.

Can you link the item here, or post a screenshot of it?

Also, just to be clear--the crafts guarantee that a number of sockets are linked, not a number of links between sockets.

Newbie here. I mixed up the number of “linked-sockets”, and number of links.
Weird though, I have no problem for 6 linked sockets (all sockets are linked), but mixed up the 4 linked-sockets.
Lesson learned….
More newbie bug-reports incoming, I reckon 😂
