Suggestion: variable drop rates for some orbs depending on currency exchange rate and Divine shards
The exchange rate (mainly DIV:EX) could and should be controlled by GGG.
Here is one good reason: right now with the ~515 Ex per Div rate we have a situation that we don't have a good way to trade items that are worth between 1 and 2 Div. The difference between 1 and 2 Div is too great and it's not practical to price something in-between because the trade search engine isn't convenient if you wanted to sell something for let's say 1 Div and 250 Ex. I've seen this exchange rate go over 700 Ex per Div which also could end up in situations in which the inventory wouldn't have enough space for enough Ex to pay for certain trades (since we don't have an auction house). Poe1 used to be much better in this regard way back when it was Chaos and Ex (back when Ex was the big one, not Div), around 100 Chaos per Ex and everything was great. We also had Ex shards at some point which allowed specific pricing such as 1.4 Ex then you could just pay the decimal amount in shards. My suggestions: 1- Make the drop rates for Ex and Div to change in real time according to the Currency exchange. Say you aim for 100 Ex per Div, then whenever it's higher than that increase the Div drop (and/or decrease Ex drops), and vice versa. 2- Introduce Div shards, to allow for trades that are priced in divines but not a whole number.
