Mark on hit doesn't work when autoexertion is reserved

I have this setup:

Mark on hit + assassins mark

Autoexertion + Generals Cry + Tectonic slam

Cyclone + supp gems

How I noticed it was during pinnacle boss fights where I wasn't getting any power charges even though I should with 49% qual on assassin's mark (using ashes of the stars), so I have like 12% change on hit vs marked enemy.

What I did to test this:

I entered hallowed ground map where the boss is immortal.
If I have my autoexertion activated I do not apply any mark at all.
I then exited and entered map again to remove the mark.
This time I didn't have autoexertion on, and instantly I applied the mark with cyclone.
I then did a 3rd test because I had some suspicions as to why.
I entered with autoexertion on and no mark applied, then while my mirage warriors was still present I turned of autoexertion and kept hitting and still no mark appeared.
But once my warriors disappeared and didn't respawn due to me having turned off autoexertion, the mark instantly applied again.

The conclusion:

Mirage Warriors from General's Cry are making it so that you can't apply marks on enemies at all while they are active and present. However once they disappear and don't respawn, you can apply marks again..

What I hope:

I hope this will be fixed ASAP, since I have now been running the whole phrecia league without marks on emeies without even noticing it before now. I don't want to have to deactivate and activate my autoexertion all the time, since it's clunky and defeats the whole purpose of the gem... :) Also it is the cause of me not getting to have 100% crit on bosses, since the mark is providing me with 1.5% crit, 50% multi and 3 power charges during longer fights..

You have no mana.
^ What they said. Most people playing that build, myself included, are linking Assassin's Mark with Lifetap to bypass the mana cost.
