Remove Detonate Dead ability from monsters
Am I the only one who thinks that Detonate Dead monster ability is unbalanced and ridiculous? Why is it still in the game? GGG, if you like it so much, please make this ability deal flat damage, not percentage of max life.
I lost all 3 of my last HC characters to this thing. Sometimes you don't even see this explosion and it's deadly no matter how much defences you have. You have over 100k EHP, 100k ele max hit and receive absolutely clean one-shot - be 99,9% sure this is it. I know that some bosses can do some dangerous attacks and I can choose no to farm these bosses. I know that some map mods can be dangerous and I can choose not to run these mods. I know that there is detonate dead ability and sadly I can do nothing about it. What do you guys think about this matter? Why GGG keep it in game? Why does it have to be % of life damaging? Idk I havent died to DD and regularly stand in it, have to with ritual.

" Last one - IpseWarcryBuddy died in Phrecia. With flasks and vaal molten shell up was fighting Guardian of the Hydra under Maven's Destructive play. Everething was smooth and then suddenly - bam and I'm dead. At this point on the arena remained two bosses = Hydra and He of many pieces. I was wandering what killed me and started reading about boss's abilities. And guess what I found reading about He of many pieces? Second from the end is OneLuckyFella (Hardcore Settlers). Was fighting 2 harbingers in T16. Had full HP and again - bam and I'm dead. Out of nowhere. Third from the end is TheBringerOfVirtue (Hardcore Settlers). Died in Ritual on T16. I used blood-filled vessel with Baran in it on that map. I suspect that they blew his corpse under my feet. Sad thing is I'm totally aware of this mechanic and trying to avoid this explosions as much as I can. But somehow sometimes it looks like there is now animation and no this nasty noise before explosion. It's just you are alive and bam - you are not anymore. Curiosity is followed by ambition. Ambition is followed by madness.

" On death effects are the worst design ever. You probably want some way of destroying corpses like Axe mastery, pyre ring or void sphere. Btw I saw you started a RF character in HCSSF. I had a RF Chieftain myself this season and let me tell you the worst thing ,even this sounds crazy, for mine chieftain were molten shell goatmen. And yes I was 90 max fire with about 6k HP still dropped to like 1k HP after shield charging into a pack. So if you see them in your map probably be careful or skip the map if it is T16+. " I did use this Axe mastery on my last character. But is helps only partially. Rare enemies that explode corpses (like it wasn't enough) also use desecrate to spawn corpses >_< And I don't even understand how I died last time. Just sudden one-shot and there are Hydra and He of many pieces on the arena. I used my Axe mastery there. Does He of many pieces also use Desecrate? I don't know... GGG, if you like so much this ability, keep it, I don't mind at all. But, please, just make it to deal reasonable flat amount of damage. That's all I ask. Curiosity is followed by ambition.
