Confusion when linking Steam account

Hi, I'm quite worried since I linked my old steam account to my Steam windows poe2 game,I had to leave that account because I suffered a hack.
When connecting to the server in PoE2 it asked me to link Steam account redirecting me with a link to the default Windows browser, which had my old account saved and I confirmed the data Last bumped on Mar 21, 2025, 8:01:07 PM

" Hello! If you wish to change the Steam ID connected to your account, you will need to first ensure that you have an email address linked to your Manage Account page, and then Contact Us to have that Steam ID unlinked. You should then be able to link another Steam ID. Need help? Contact Support :)

I already sent an email to support, and yes, I have access to my 2 steam accounts that are associated with the same email
