The game freezes just by staying in HO

I noticed two issues in the past couple of hours.
1. Game freezes just by doing nothing in the HO every minute or so.
2. Remote play is inconsistent as it shows "connect a controller" 90% of the time from the ps app and portal.
Was there a "ghost" patch applied in the recent lets say 6 hours? Is anyone else experiencing such problems with the client?
