Waystone drops

Ever since the 600+ MB shadow patch a couple of days ago, waystone drops have plummeted, regardless of the % chance on the waystone used to traverse the map.

Moreover, even with all Atlas nodes for increased tiers for Waystone dropped, these NO LONGER trigger. I've ran more than 20 waystones of Tier 11 and 12 but none have dropped any Tier 13 waystones or higher. Before the patch, I would consistently get at least 1 higher tier waystone.

Heck, getting the same tier waystone as the one used to traverse a map is NOT a guarantee anymore.

bump, a lot of times at T15 the rares or even bosses will drop no waystone
Noticing the same with T15 waystones. I ran out of T15 waystones. I bought all of the T14 waystones from Doryani. I reforged them into T15s. I grabbed a conquered tower and juiced it to +60% waystone drops. In that area, I'm lucky to get 1 waystone if the map does not have a boss.

It does not feel like the proper amount of waystones are dropping in the higher level maps. I say this because I just ran a Blooming Field map (tower +60% waystone drops) and used a waystone that was +35% waystone drops. I got 0 waystones through the map. The boss bugged so I had to get out of arena and back to hideout. I then used a normal (0 affixes) level 1 waystone to redo the map with no boss. I got four level 1 waystones through the map.

There is no real way to purchase bulk waystones from other people or NPCs and the singles that people sell are too expensive to sustain a habit of buying.

It's becoming a chore just to get waystones to keep mapping.

Adding an additional report of this. I ran a T15 corrupted waystone and got no waystone even off the final rare. Perhaps my atlas passive for higher tier waystones triggered and T16 can't drop so I got screwed out of a replacement waystone. This would be odd, because after running over 20 maps with the higher tier node I never once got a higher tier waystone, so for it to finally happen on my first T15 corrupted would be weird. I will respecc out of the higher tier chance node and keep going, but for the node to only trigger on a T15 for me and cause no waystone is awful.

Atlas waystone points do not effect the actual droprate... it would seem.

If I run with about +150% waystone drop rate, or yank all of my atlas points and run a low map- I still see maybe MAYBE one from packs- then the usual from boss.

This has been going on forever. Its actually difficult to sustain maps. I've had to restart maps completely multiple times. Drop to a lower map... alot.

Game is really good, but this is some quality bullshit.

You need waystones to map. I don't get it. Did no one think of this? How are you guys overlooking such basic shit? What is happening over there.

You're developing on multiple systems... yet you're dropping balls on conceptual design? Then, THEN, you're not fixing it for actual months?

I mean... do you guys want to fail at this or... wtf is going on?

You have the golden ticket and you're fucking it up. You have unpaid players pointing out bugs and they sit- free qa.

Actually baffled. You guys must be really short-handed.

Tower bosses don't drop waystones either.

Towers also drop one tablet, which- since we're not getting tablets elsewhere, is rather nuts.

I definitely don't have any tablets. Although I do have more opportunity than ever to use tablets. I like this new system, I don't like not being able to ever use it.

Beyond that, waystone drop is broken, atlas points don't seem to work. Which likely is also effecting tablet drops, as I never see any of those either.

I'm also now specced into strongbox cartographer boxes, why use my points on something clearly not working... I get a LOT of strongboxes, I've never seen a cartographer. Not one. Since there are only three variants, something must be fucked.

I've been complaining about this for quite some time.

This leads me to think that all of this is connected/neutered by the same code. I'm not sure how that would happen- but it has to be something that literally says no waystones, which would/should in turn also mean no cartographer boxes.

So, I don't really know what you guys are doing over there- but its going to be really hard for people to like the game when core shit just straight up doesn't work.

Its a great game, but some stuff is so insanely out of balance that its really difficult to like it. Like, are they serious out of balance. Like, I hope they are ok, out of balance.
