[semi-fixed] Remapping flask keys to mouse wheel leads to no input recieved
Even before 0.2 I used to remapping my wheel down and wheel up to some keys that were assigned to flasks, which is extremely convenient, saves some nearby keys and the mouse wheel isn't useful for much else anyway. Used to do the same for flares and dynamites in PoE1, because reaching for 6 and 7 is way too clunky in a tight situation.
Now, PoE2 accepts exactly one flask use with this method no matter how much I try to use my mouse wheel. Reloading the ahk script doesn't fix this and it doesn't matter which keyboard button is used for the flasks, as long they are triggered with the mouse wheel. If I press the designated flask button directly after that, the first input is ignored, after which I can again drink it either through the normal button or remapped mouse wheel. Then after using the mouse wheel this behaviour repeats itself again. Nothing related to this issue was mentioned in the patch notes, so I assume it's a bug. And if not this should be brought back, since this is a simple one press -> one action kind of remapping and not some automated macro at all. Update:
This is working properly again after I turned back "Mousewheel Zoom" in in-game options, even though it wasn't needed before the 0.2 update. However, this leads to an unwanted outcome where the remapping script has to fully replace the functionality of the mouse wheel to prevent constant zoom ins and outs. Before the bug occured in 0.2, I could use the mouse wheel remapped this way while still allowing it to scroll the menus. I would like this to get fixed.
