An unexpected disconnection occurred - Error in Log In screen patch 0.2b

1. Launch game via steam
2. Click `Log In` button
3. Pick character
4. loading screen appears
5. Screen black out for seconds
6. i am rolled back to screen with Log In button with an error: An unexpected disconnection occurred.

I can log in to Standard characters. I can log in to newly created 0.2b characters.

How to fix it so i will be able to play my "old" 0.2b characters that i created yesterday?

I am having the same issue with one character. I'm levelling a new one, but it is pretty annoying.

For addition, for me it happened after teleport from Temple of Chaos to Town in Act 3, Infernalist LVL i dont remember, patch 0.2b new leage

Getting same error. Character: SkadiSpectre, Infernalist with spectres; I believe I was going back to town from the Bog in Act 3.

I have same problem I am stuck on menu , I can login standart character but I cant login new league character .

Still the same issue. I see the problem is quite common, GGG any plans to address it or at least explain why it doesnt work so i will not lose next progress? It killed all my enthusiasm to play
