Disengage greyed out and not usable.

Started a warrior spear build and already in act 1 during the mudburrow quest, my disengage skill is greyed out like it's on an indefinite cooldown. I've tried unequipping the skill gem multiple times, logging out and logging back in to reset and no fix yet. Yes I have a spear and buckler shield equipped. It works on my huntress character, but refuses to on my warrior character.
