What a crap show and still no auction house
[Removed by Support]
recent reviews on steam 26% 370 positive 1080 negative Instead of fixing game like adding auction house, remove the 10% exp penalty and improving end game, they completely killed campaign and made the game for 1% of nolifers. The feedback is extremely negative about this patch. What were they thinking? Last edited by Cameron_GGG#0000 on Apr 5, 2025, 11:12:35 PM Last bumped on Apr 6, 2025, 7:57:56 AM

I concur.
Although ultimately it's up to Tencent to do that. All we can do as players is give our feedback and boycott the game if we aren't having fun. If the player numbers are poor, Tencent will make changes. |

The auction house is not good for the game. It's too convenient, players will end up trading most of the time instead of getting better gears thought killing the enemies or crafting, it also will break the game economy very fast.
In love Hardcore solo self-found mode

Yeah I tend to agree that any kind of auction house has to be done super carefully. It can quickly lead to an economy that basically drives prices in 2 directions. Most items dive for the bottom, with people continually under cutting each other for a smaller and smaller return, eventually leading to prices for 99% of items being essentially floored.
The 1% of items, usually only accessible by a small fraction of the player base, continually increase in price. You essentially end up with most stuff being junk and going for almost nothing, and a few specific things being super expensive and unobtainable by most players. This is going to be worse in an economy where the currency is also used for crafting. It means certain kinds of crafting is just out of reach for most players because it requires such a high number of expensive crafting materials to be useful. One way to address that is to move to set exchange rates for crafting items, and allow players to exchange at will via NPC's (its in the game already), and set the rates on those exchanges based on the relative rate they are needed to craft items. and then let players exchange crafted items for a different currency type, such as the gold that is in the game now, or something else. This would be wildly unpopular with a lot of vets. It'd be a boon for the general player population though. you could even make this change for only SSF, where trading doesnt matter. In fact I think they need to do that, make currency more available in SSF, and use the NPC traders for exchanging currency. I'm done buying anything until we get some clarity on the future of POE1 and POE2 and I know GGG plans to spend effort on a game I want to play.
Tell us if POE1 still has your top tier support or if POE2 will get a mode for more casual play. |

" Last Epoch disagree with you. They showed us you can have all of it. Last Epoch has better crafting, the AH work with MG faction and you can gear farming from CoF faction. Even with the convenience of AH, you still need to farm for faction rank and gold to buy things there. Chris excuse for no AH is old already, both him and Jonathan are just to lazy to think and make AH works. Last edited by Shujinko87#3391 on Apr 6, 2025, 5:05:26 AM

Games are entertainment and it is the duty of the developer to make their game entertaining.
If players have differing opinions on how hard a game should be in order to be entertaining, it is not for the developer to make a decision, but to accomodate as many players as possible by giving them a choice. You may have seen other games having a difficulty selection. Any other course of action risks driving away players. While we could brush this off as something that might come later and people should chill out and wait for early access to fix it some time later, there is an elephant in the room. This game costs money. This game has microtransaction. With money on the table, you need to deliver and cannot expect all people to invent excuses for you. GGG is not doing itself a favor by burning as many palyers as they do right now. |
