Armor break and the notable “Pile On”
With the changes to armor break and specifically the one to this passive, I have been wondering if I am misunderstanding how armor break is functioning.
Armor break says a fully broken armor makes an enemy take 20% INCREASED phys damage. That doesn’t seem like much, but it’s still something! But then the change to “Pile On”. Formerly it made armor broken targets take 60% increased phys dmg. Now it’s a 30% increase effect to armor break. Which, mathing that, equates to about 6% getting added to armor break damage effect. There are small passives next to it that have 20% increased dmg from armor break. This whole thing makes me think I’m missing something…. Anyone have any thoughts or experience to add in regards to this? Last bumped on Apr 6, 2025, 1:03:14 AM

"Armour broken enemies take 20% increased physical damage" is equivalent to a more multiplier.
"Deal 20% increased physical damage to armour broken enemies" is additive with all of your other sources of % increased damage that apply. |

Ok thank you for clarifying. I had a suspicion it was like that but could not figure out how to justify that suspicion. I’m so used to seeing the term “more” in those instances. Seems I don’t fully understand the damage scaling mechanics and terms yet.
