Game was better before latest patch....

I am having great difficulty trying to get past Act1. Fighting enemies in this is not fun at all with bad drops. This is getting more difficult for me and am losing interest. I wished they only gave the new content without the heavy nerfs/buffs. I have spent $50 on a prerelease beta for a future free game and they seem to want to make it more difficult for us to simply play and enjoy. I just do not understand this.

I really wished they gave us difficulty level options with a strictly single-self player/no trade option as well. I truly wished I can play this like an 'offline' game that was not so hard on the player.

I always imagine that I must have just downloaded a different game to everyone making these complaints. So far this league has been far easier than what last league start was, and i started after the drop buffs last league.

Like, stop relying purely on drops. Check vendors once each level. Once you farm enough gold, gamble a ring from the vendor. Half of my gear by the end of act 1 was vendor gear, because they sell very solid gear. Anything with 10% or more res is great, especially if it's cold res for act 1.

At this stage, it honestly looks like people are intentionally making it harder for themselves, so that they can complain about tedium and difficulty

Sorry I have to disagree with Nubman, it is much harder than it was before and much much slower to progress especially for the casual and average gamers.

The loot is terrible I was still wearing a level 12 chest piece at level 38 because nothing drops and I checked the vendors constantly.

You pretty much have to use POE2 trade to get any decent gear or try your hand at crafting if you get a decent base, that's what I have had to do to get by.

Anyway I don't mind things being harder but i do feel the loot situation needs improving still. Would be nice to get an upgrade in gear every now and then.

for me lot harder aswell first huntress run i managed to get to final act 2 boss and now i am stuck and can not progress further

The other thing you can do but people hate for some reason is just pick up white and blue bases for the top tier items in each slot. Trans+aug, if you get 2 good mods (i normally aim for a res and life), regal. If not, vendor for more gold to buy better items from the vendor. You are only going to be picking up 3-4 items per zone anyway in campaigns, and it more or less fixes the loot progression.

People are still expecting to drop fully finished rare items, but its just not how the campaigns work in this game. I can 100% understand the game being an un-fun slog if you only pick up rares, because rares that are the right base are simply not that common during campaigns unless you are ultra lucky.

You can disagree all you want and come up with counter arguments, but notice that I'm saying the game progression and gear felt good, and this is what i do.
