Jamanra, the Abomination, Asala NEVER casts protective barrier, leading to hardcore instant deaths

My buddy and I just got deleted in a moment after Asala decided to never place down the barrier. The 2nd screenshot is my corpse on top of Asala, showing her just standing there with her Sword in hand getting beat down by fifty mobs that have been summoned.

I've got 540.9 hours in the game. I've killed act 2 boss dozens of times. The shield just never spawned. My 800 HP was obliterated in less than 1.5 seconds.

This just killed any motivation for me to play this game anymore. This is a glaring bug for the weekend of the release of the new content.
