Bug on Dreadnought map in Act 2, Cruel difficulty – Game crashes only on Huntress

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue where the game crashes every time I try to enter the Dreadnought map in Act 2 on Cruel difficulty. The game crashes just after i try to kill some mobs on the map. I’ve tried several fixes so far, but none of them have worked. There is none kind of error report, the game is just freezing for a moment and turning off.

Here’s everything I’ve tried:

Verified the integrity of the game files.

Reinstalled the game.

Changed the CPU core assignments.

Added various launch options.

Changed the rendering type (DX11/DX12/Vulkan).

Changing settings including upscale type.

Turned HDR mode on and off.

Even switching skins and equipment (including items on the character).

Updating drivers.

The issue seems to be specific to this one character. I tested with other characters (different classes) and was able to enter the Dreadnought map without any issues on standard league, but the problem persists only with this specific character in dawn of the hunt league.

Additionally, I’m running a 4070 Ti and i5-13600KF.

Please send help, cause i literally cant progress in game due to this problem.

I fixed it. I found out that unfortunately my companion (this triceratops kind of thing that shoots laser from trials) was somehow glitching and crashing the game. I hope this will be patched soon and will make game better. Hope i help at least anyone.

I'm having the same exact problem, and I can't even load into my character to disable the gem. My game crashes right as the loading screen finishes, and I can't get in at all to disable it.

Same exact zone, same exact companion.

Instances are reseted after 8-15min just wait a bit go to town as fast as u can and then do your things. Hope i helped.
