Suggestion: Full Campaign unlock after first playthrough.

This means as soon as we kill the last boss on Cruel difficulty first time into the league the complete campaign will be unlocked for the current and all future characters.

Means every waypoint and every checkpoint is always active, this way the game will become a little bit more twink friendly.

I understand that playing the campaign again every league is a part of POE and nothing against that with the first charcter in the new league, but it's rly not neccessary to let us do so all over again with every other character we create in the league....this leads to more frustration than fun if we have to walk all the huge maps over and over again.

And I think having all waypoints & checkpoints unlocked after beating the campaign once into a new league is a good middleground, so we have more time for the fun part of ARPGs....PLaying multiple builds/classes in endgame.

I would play so much fucking more if I dont have to play the campaign each time. Just let me level in maps, its just this weird ego thing preventing us from having reasonable and logical features.

Jsut the shortcuts but you still need to run your character from 1 to the level you want? Woudl also need to hunt the bosses that give permanent bonuses? IF that.. yes.. it seems quite acceptable and unlikely to cause problems in other parts.

Exactly, that's the idea....you would still have to do all the essential bosses and quests during the campaign, with my suggestion you simply don't have to play the tedious "campaign walking simulator" with your twinks all over again and complete the campaign a bit faster this way. ;)

But only with twinks....As said to unlock this feature you have to fully complete the campaign at least once with your first character into a new league simply by killing the Act3 boss on cruel (Having open side quests shouldn't matter here).

Having to walk the full campaign every time we create a new character scares away many people from creating a 2nd or even 3rd one and I think my suggestion here would be an acceptable compromise for everyone. :)

This is a great Idea, I normally make 4-5 characters per league in poe1, in poe2 I made 1 and a half characters in 0.1( only got to ~lvl 70 on 2nd) and I surely will not make more than 1 character in 0.2 but this change would get me on the same workload as poe1.
In 0.4 the same issue still exists, the campaign is simply way to long and hinders many player to make more than 1 char.

Ofc speedruner, who play POE as theyr job, are not affected by this but the other 95% of the normal human beings who have a job & other purposes beside gaming are.

I'm totaly fine to rerun the campaign once every new league....as a ARPG Veteran since hour 0 in D1 I even love it (mostly bcs of D2 ladder resets), it brings some kind of race to the table every new league esp with friends.

But after that it's just way to tedious to go through this proccess with every single character after the first one.

Therefore I want to bump my suggestion and hope that GGG can work with such feedback, to find a certain middleground where all sides are happy.
Jonathan said that if people don't want to replay the campaign it means that campaign needs to be better. One of the most out of touch opinion's i've heard. It is insane to me that he can say this with a straight face.

Well, actually, I can agree more: this unlock should be account wide for all and every future leagues.

I mean I would be fine with that if every campaign playthrough is significantly different every time and also countains secrets or hidden quests where you can even skip parts of the campaign.

Plus having meaningful mechanics & drops that are useful even in very late endgame...but currently this is not the case.

But the game is till in Beta and we don't have the whole picture yet...till than it would be nice to have at least some form of QOL for twink leveling and not being urged to rerun the whole campaign every time. :)
