these gloves correctly allow you to cut new gems that you don't fulfil the natural gem requirements of ie 52dex. but they don't allow you to to upgrade an existing gem, so once you improve the gem with jewellers or prisms you want to take it to a character that has the dex to use it to upgrade the gem.

Also stomping ground may need to become a tier two support as its power level seems to high for act one characters.
