Demon Form (Infernalist) + Birth of Fury (Unique item) NOT working

The unique boots Birth of Fury which state 'Drop ignited ground while moving' sadly don't drop ignited ground while in Demon Form.

I was hoping to equip these cool boots because of the change to Demon Form in the latest patch where it became better to stack HP, which these boots also benefit from.

I tried to research if this is intented behavior or not but I could find no answer, if it is indeed intended feel free to ignore this post.

I have the same issue. Demon form works, but the boots seem to deactivate. I confirmed that it is not just visual either. The boots (specifically the ground effect, not the stats) just don't work.
