Essence Event bugging out in Valley of the Titans and Titan's Grotto

So, I did an Essence Event in Valley of the Titans, only 1 monster appeared and it was white. I killed it but got no loot/essence. Then, the specific area, where the Essence Event originally was, became an invisible barrier. Then, my character started bugging out around it, as if I was rubberbanding yet my graph (fps/cpu/gpu/latency/etc) were totally normal. I started doing Whirling Slash, and it kept pulling me back to the spot I originated the attack, yet my mana was going down, etc. The spot was the exact place where the Essence event was.

I took some screenshots, but then I figured out how I could take a video so I captured what was going on in that area. I can send the video if need be (its approx 30 seconds in length and 83mb in size).

I decided to continue playing, as the rest of the map was behaving normally. So, I go down into the Titan's Grotto, and I come across another Essence Event. This time more monsters appeared, and I thought the event was working fine, but again, I killed the monsters and no loot appeared after... the difference between the two events is that the area did not turn into a buggy mess/invisible barrier like the first time.

I wrote in game chat about it happening and somebody else said it happened to them in Titan's Grotto as well...

edit: after reading some other posts, I wanted to say that the monsters I was killing also seemed to disappear. I thought that I just killed them quickly, but they did seem to disappear much faster than it would normally take me to kill them. I just thought to myself "well maybe I just got lucky and killed them fast" but after seeing other people post about the issue, I dont think that's what happened...
