Ascent of Power bugged

I've finished all of Act 2, and the next step is to speak to Zarka, but no dialog shows up to continue the quest. I don't have the green quest djin to activate the quest. I had one drop, which I tried to drop and pick up and it did nothing I've already destroyed the item aswell and retired the quest boss to see if it would fix to which it did not

I also encountered this issue, which prevented me from playing endgame content

Same, came to post this but I see others have also ran into this. This is only my second playthrough and since there has been new questlines added to Act 2. I Cant remember if Balbala, the Traitor was a questline before to trigger the ascendancy questline, I thought it was or it should be. I remember doing it though with some of the challenge stages. Might have been a UI error to telling us to go speak to Zarka instead of kill Balbala first. I looked up someone doing this months ago and the key to get around this was killing Balbala. It's easy to miss if you are just running through Traitors Passage to the Halani Gates, again only my 2nd playthrough act 2 I thought Balbala had its own quest but I could be wrong. So I assume we picked up "Djinn Barya" Trail from Deshar so it triggered Zarka but the "Balbala's Barya" trail from Traitors Passage is the one that actually triggers the quest.
