Ritual Sacrifice consuming the corpse but giving no buffs for an entire map

I have no idea what caused this, but for this whole map my Ritual Sacrifice was consuming the corpses but giving me no buffs in return. Here's a short video I recorded of it happening.

A little more detail: entering and exiting the map did not work, closing and reopening the game didn't solve it either. Turning the kill animation MTX off also did not solve it.

I got to replicate it!!!!!

It consistently happens in TEMPORAL CHAINS MAPS in which you get STUNNED OUT OF A RITUAL SACRIFICE ANIMATION once. After that happens no other rare monsters in the map give you any ritual sacrifice buffs after using the skill on their corpses.
