Spectres Wisp Form not resetting and distance is too small

When Spectres get too far behind they turn into wisps. Sometimes they don't come back until you are 2 screens away and your minions would reset distance. Sometimes not at all and you have to take the gem out and put it back in again.

When you die, sometimes the spectres do not respawn and you need to take the gem out and put it back in again.

The distance at which spectres turn into wisps is truly too small. For example, when fighting in The Augury against the Chimera boss, if you run around the centre circle the spectres can turn into wisps. It's hard to notice when they do it in the middle of a fight so you can end up missing out on DPS until you notice. This also happens in Seepage map against the toxic boss. It is making fighting bosses truly a slog.

Someone pointed out that you can press the Minion Move/Attack button but it doesn't work when they are in wisp form.

This is making the otherwise fun spectre gameplay feel like a dps loss overall and that is making me, personally, think about respeccing ascendancy when that goes live. I don't want to but it's causing sub-optimal play and making all my investment feel like a waste of time and currency.
