Multiple diconnects and loading issues (days gone by)

I'm rapidly comming to the conclusion that for me at least, PoE 1 is unplayable atm.
For the last few days I've been levelling a new character, so the frequent disconnects we annoying, but I powered through with my levelling. However, now I'm into maps, it's just not feasible to keep loosing maps everytime I get disconnected and loose all my portals when rejoining (loosing loot as well). As my character is presumably beoing rolled back, I assume I'm loosing any experience from the map too.

I'm using London (EU) gateway.

As I mentioned, this has been going on for days and is characterised by frequent disconnects & rollbacks, difficulty accessing town stash, difficulty transitioning to new areas.

I can't believe more folks aren't shouting about this, so either the problem is at my end and only effecting me, or noboby else is playing the game.

Please help.
