Everything just one shots you in Tier 15 maps

having like 2k life and max resists. still everyone one shots you. it is stupid. It's not like everyone has the damage to clear fast. I have above average gear and still stuck at level 88

700+ hours last season, res capped. I understand defenses, I've never been rando one shot by just crap all over the map that is impossible to avoid or even see. I HONESTLY think Elemental resistance is broken or not even working ATM. None of this makes sense. If you want MEANINGFUL combat I have to be able to see it or be able to have some sort of counterplay. We have no CC. They toned down monsters in campaign but did nothing about end game. You just get SWARMED so fast and killed from off screen. There is not enough defensive stats to build, there just isn't. Or maybe there would be if we even has any clue what killed us or what kind of dmg it was. I can't get better or learn what to do if I literally go from 100-0 in 1 Frame |

" I feel the exact same way. I'm an LS Amazon in SSF. i have 2k hp, my gear is actually pretty ok. I'm playing Evasion, have maxxed resists (40% chaos), and nothing but ES and life actually seems like it matters. Every single death is to a poorly telegraphed oneshot. I'd place a bet on every monster affected by some kind of elemental damage modifier completely bypassing both resists and evasion. There are some REALLY bad outlier monsters that are incredibly hard to dodge by design, and get massively overscaled by what i think is elemental damage modifiers. The small demon humanoids (the fractured, or something?) in corrupted zones are perhaps the worst in the game right now, within an instant of them spawning they've zapped your entire health bar away without a telegraph. Trials of chaos and Sekemhas are equally bad offenders. They're even more overscaled compared to players than they were pre-patch. Every single ability a boss can use in 75+ TOC without any anti-defensive modifiers on my character will generally oneshot me. Sekemhas appear slightly less overtuned, bossfights are marginally less awful, but the outlier mobs like the urn elites in the final trial zone are incredibly overtuned, not having harefoot or the damage to instagib them means instant death and -40min of your time. I don't get how this stuff makes it through playtesting, honestly. The rage-inducing outliers that become "i quit" moments in this game are really obvious to catch when you aren't playing a build that mindlessly instakills everything. I want the vision, and it's nowhere to be seen. We again have another league where Monsters cannot be reliably defended against and the only good defense is offense.
