Feedback from a Frustrated Player — Season 2 Just Isn’t Fun

I’ve been a long-time supporter of Path of Exile and spent both time and money because I believed in the game and the direction it was going. During Season 1, I genuinely had fun. It was challenging, sure — but there was a clear path to getting stronger. My Monk and Witch both had moments where I felt powerful, and that made the grind rewarding. Even after some nerfs near the end of the season, I could still clear T15 maps and enjoy the experience.

Season 2 has felt completely different. Progression hasn’t been fun — it’s felt like a slog. Every milestone has been more of a relief than a celebration. I finally made it to maps on my Lich, and I still feel weak. It’s disheartening to put in so much effort and feel like I’m barely hanging on. There’s no sense of payoff. I haven’t had a single moment where I felt strong, and it’s made me realize I’m not enjoying my time anymore.

At this point, I’m stepping away from the game. I say this not out of anger, but out of disappointment. I hope future updates bring back that sense of fun, power, and progression that made PoE2 worth investing in — because right now, it just isn’t there.
