Trading has never been so bad

trying to buy a generic item for 5 hours already. And never have gotten an invite. Price was mid range. Why is this happening and is getting worse?
Been here since 2013 and this is the worst trading experience I had in any game I have played.

No crafting, no loot...

People are poor, people lost interest

I suggest you also try to complete all, or most things you can to really grasp how depressing everything else is.

I just spammed like 50 people and got no response WTF is this? Not a single invite.

Rofl this feeling is so true. After completing all map tiers and not being able to find a citadel to save my life I decided the developers want me to play something else

no craft system + worst ever trade = feels bad

It's because, since 2013 the system established some unwritten etiquette rules that most people adhered to so we could trade items in an archaic system. With the influx of new people into this system, many have clearly chosen not to be good denizens and are, frankly, rude.

I have been a staunch opponent of moving away from the trade system because I like the idea that it provides an opportunity to not sell an item for way too little just because you didn't know what it was worth. However, the current abuse of that system and the lack of respect for fellow players while trading, I no longer care to use the trade system. It is utterly painful and needs to be changed, rapidly.

website based trade is cancer, there needs to be an auction interface built into the game (along with a built in item filter)
