Can we get superior versions of the current crossbows?

Right now the game has 2 unique crossbows, both are lowlevel, can we get something similar (or not) as a higher tier version? It's kinda sad seeing some passives jailed behind a low level weapon.

uniques are kind of crap across the board so even if they add them they will still be shittier than some rare item you can buy on the trade site for 1-10 exalt

As long as they have decent passives should be fine, for example, the one that allows you to shoot without losing bullets it's kinda good for some skills, but as mentioned, low level equipment, arrives a point where you can't use said items because the end up having 0 dps.
