Slow methodical gameplay is great but POE 1 rare mods has to be reworked to fit

Interactive combat is like a dance with the enemy.

Currently, a bunch of rare mods from POE 1 destroys the balance, making it a one sided affair in some cases.

I personally enjoy most of the bosses in the game. If not for the "rare" monsters, I would enjoy the game a lot more.

For now, they are simply meat sponges that spew environmental hazards. Most of them are plain annoying and some are just a character defense check.

So much effort has been put into monster's attack animations and window of opportunities. It would've made a lot more sense to make use of it rather than destroying the cadence of it.

Introduce mods that makes sense. Create effects only when they hit or some special attack that require commitment with accompanying animation just like bosses or players do.

The game definitely require some time to cook. IMO, the worst that could happen is a POE 1 clone. Slowing the player down is fine, but do consider both sides of the equation.
