Combat Pacing

0.1.0 was glorious. I fell in love with GGG all over again. I made 4 characters, each with at least 100hrs of gameplay. Did all the things in endgame and when I finally ran out of content, I got bored and waited for a new league. Only 1 problem, this ain't it. Combat is so fucking boring I have been making myself push through the slog of the campaign because I have hope it'll get better. I'm lying to myself. It's not gonna get better it's gonna get worse. Here's the current gameplay: Attack pack of monsters, while trying to kill them all, you pull in more, while trying to kill all of the ones you just pulled, you pull more. Eventually after you pulled 27 packs of monsters, you kill everything and can walk for 3 seconds before you find another pack of monsters. Rinse and repeat.

It's tedious, mundane and a fucking snooze fest. They keep saying pacing doesn't matter if combat is fun, and I'm starting to think they have no fucking idea what fun combat in an ARPG looks like anymore. We want power fantasy! Not power struggles!
