Gold dissapearing on console

I've been selling all the rare items I get and made 250k the first time before it went down to 90k (I didn't spend it on anything or re specing) second time I get up to 200k I leave the map and now I'm suddenly at 44k, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this because it's very annoying to lose all the currency that I've been saving for no reason. And before people try to tell me I spent it I didn't wouldn't need to waste my time making a post about it

Have you perhaps been opening the new unique Ventor's Contraption strongbox?

It drops items each time it's opened, but costs an exponentially increasing amount of gold.

Just happened again was at 125k now I'm at 25 k it's beyond annoying there's 0 explanation for it ggg where is my gold that I'm saving because you guys keep stealing my resources everytime I build them up.

No haven't used one of those this has happened 3 times this morning alone
