Undying Blockage cannot be removed – Infernal Talc never dropped

After defeating Piety in the Crematorium, she disappeared without dropping Infernal Talc.
The Undying Blockage in the Sewers is still present and I cannot proceed to the Ebony Barracks.
I tried resetting the instance, killing her again, talking to Maramoa, and everything else suggested online. Nothing helped.

The Undying Blockage has nothing to do with the fight in the Crematorium. That fight ends with you taking Tolman's Bracelet, which you give to Clarissa to get the Sewer Keys and access to the Sewer.

The Sewer extends beyond fork with the Undying Blockage, with the other direction letting you out in the Marketplace. Take that path, and work on the other task in your tracked quests: Talk to the Gemling Queen, Dialla, on the second floor of the Solaris Temple.
