Temporal Chains ... THE ONE (BAD!) MOD TO RULE THEM ALL

This one mod is so bad in poe2 i can not explain it in a constructive way, because everytime i think about it my mood goes down like a waterfall.

in poe1 we have insta movement skills and qucksilver falsks and even as affix onother flasks, and more!

but in poe2... movement on boots and .. ... .............. nothing

yes you could argue just dont run it.
but lets be hones, you want to make a fun game with some punishment, what is absolute fine if you have things to reduce its effect significantly or have something to work against it. and it rolls very often, at least for me.
we dont have any kind of "every char can just get 80% curse reduction with some investment", or like mentioned increased speed.

so it leads to: hate it and run it or hate it and avoid it.
so there is no fun in this mod.

the absolut top of the mountain and weirdest thing about this mod is,
IMAGINE THAT:
WITH Temp Chains AND Chilled Ground together you are even faster than with Temp Chains alone, because you can use the slow charm then to get rid of the effect everytime it procs.

SO:
I can see 2 Solutions there,
- reduce the effect
- remove it entirely from poe2

BUT PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
I believe in you, you can do better ;)

It rules them all but Burning Ground is a close second.

i don't think it can be compared, for burning grounds you have something to work against it, like resist and other damage mitigations and you also just can run around or dodge through the patches.

the closest second for me is Ele Threshold!
it completly destroys early elemental builds

What is so bad about moving slower? I don't get what causes such a frustration that the game isn't fuckin fast all the time.

It must be a young generation (and I'm not THAT old) or a culture thing..

I'm fine with waiting for summer to eat a good strawberry.
But I see people having a mental breakdown if their food delivery driver has a 10min delay with their pizza.

I honestly hate constant smashing buttons to teleport. Quicksilver flask and flask piano was the reason I stopped playing PoE 1.

The thing itself isn't frustrating, proved by the fact that the same thing doesn't frustrate some other people. Which means the frustration is created within you, by you. Your expectation doesn't meet the reality... An easy relieve? Adjust your expectations and accept reality.

Be fine with moving slowly, because it is part of this game.
Or stop playing this game with a smile on your face :)

well i am grown with gameboy so i guess you can imagine i am not any kind of young generation :D

why it feels bad? because you have worked hard to get at least the tiny bit of movement you can get, you oneshotting the whole screen and then you run with -20+% movementspeed through an empty screen to the next pack you oneshot, so you spend most of the time running in slowmotion through an empty map.

i am fine with slow mechanics, there is chilled grounds, and roots and other slow mechanics, but this one is so permanent and thats why it is so annoying

edit:
and btw i also hate the buttonsmashing, thats why i am absolute fine with not having all this things from poe1 here in poe2. and thats why movement should not get punished that hard at all, so you dont get the feeling of, "oh no, why is there no way to run faster to the next pack".

It's frustrating, because in POE1 you could not use piano flask to become quicker, but you could press only one flask to remove curse, so it's make your character move as normal. Also, you could get some movement speed from passive tree / ascendancy to mitigate reduced movement speed

Mobs in POE2 a lot faster than the character itself, so if you'll not be so lucky - you could get Temporal Chains, Fast mob with Haste or Temporal Bubble and some after death mob mechanics like dot pool on the floor. Good luck to avoid it

Do not forget that in POE1 each map mod increased the quantity and rarity on map, so for more risk you could get more reward. So, you could stack increased movement speed for mobs, additional mobs modifiers that could possibly make mobs faster, curses and being rewarded for it.

In POE2 for such HUGE IMBALANCED curse, that's make you impossible to avoid some mechanics you'll better avoid running map with that curse because it's annoying, dangerous and unrewardable
Well try playing as a Lich. you don't have ANY move speed in your tree, you already get -4% speed from the armour so even with a 30% speed boots ur only at 26%.

Compared to last league when I was a gemling and invoker, it feels like this whole 0.2 is putting the Temporal debuff on permanently
theres a bunch of shit modifiers on waystones now. if you get a few of them you throw that waystone in the trash. thank god we get so many now you can just throw half of them out
