Loss of character control after opening strongbox w/ freeze

I opened a rare strongbox in the Halani Walls (the map where you fight Jamanra the first time) map in act 2 cruel, and afterwards I was able to run around but no other combat input worked. I couldn't cast any spells or dodge at all, and I had to relog to fix it.

I don't remember the exact mods on the chest, but it was for sure Freezes you on activation, and I think it might have had thunderstorm and a rarity mod or something.

I suspect it had something to do with getting frozen and my Thawing charm instantly unfreezing me.

just happened to me too

This happens to me all the time when clicking a "freezes you when activated mod" and you have a immune to freeze charm with full charges.
