Why pathfinder? Why Incinerate?
Pathfinder and incinerate were buffed in 0.2 with a higher roll on the less movement speed penalty when casting/attacking and higher base damage on the ignite. And they also added support on the tree for even less movement speed penalty, making us able to almost channel skills at full speed at all times. Making this a very comfortable & trivial experience from the very start Pathfinder also has lots of quality of life, immune to slows (such as temporal chains and chill), immunity to one of three ailments (ignite, freeze or shock). With the new changed unwavering stance, we can also become stun immune with the cost of us not being able to dodge roll - which doesn't matter if we move at almost max speed at all times and slowing down the enemies with our curse auras. And to top all of this, you can either get 6 more skill points or elemental damage reduction based on your evasion - which is big. Pros with the build

Cannot dodge roll, remove the helmet when bossing or walk away from them when you expect them to do a hard hitting attack Life based build, but can be changed to evasion/ES if you want to. But that would require you to change the tree around and focus more on defenses Poor physical damage mitigaion Poor visual clarity as there will be fire all over the place. Less FPS with all the fire on the screen Mandatory uniques

Blackflame ring (preferebly with % damage corruption)
It makes enemies take chaos damage from ignites instead of fire damage. This is NOT a damage conversion on your end, its enemies having damage taken as chaos. Which also makes withered debuff make enemies take increased damage from the ignite. This ring isn't a must if you want to be a fire based version of the build - but it's less damage. So you are still dealing fire damage and want to scale it, whilst lowering enemy chaos resistance and wither for more chaos damage taken. Ezomyte peak Helmet (preferebly with spirit corruption) This helmet grants you the unwavering stance keystone, which makes you immune to stuns but you can no longer dodge roll. Some area of effect and life. Sandstorm visage IF you decide to run a crit version for more dps Sandstorm visage adds blind + critical weakness to all nearby enemies. Critical weakness allows incinerate to crit although it never hits, which will result in more than double to triple the dps. WEAPON SWAP IF CRIT Wicked quill wand + Effigy of cruelty focus) This allows an eye of winter (if crit) to instantly stack up 10 stacks of critical weakness and also a few stacks of wither for a quick burst in damage Rares

Can be done from level 16-18ish, by just using the unique staff the searing touch. Try to buy a level 3 support gem for the mobility support gem to run faster until you get your second ascendancy done, then replace it with a damage support after that
