Ascent to power quest bugged and can't ascend.

I ran the Traitors Passage level on Act 2 Cruel. I mistakenly left behind the Djinn Bara. I picked it up which advanced the quest to “Return to the Ardura Caravan and speak to Zarka” but then in efforts of clearing inventory I dropped the bar. Now I have nothing to show and cannot advance the quest line to unlock the “Trial of the Sekhemas.”

I have repeated the boss fight multiple times and no further drop was presented. Please tell me I don’t have to start fresh again or just lose the two ascendancy points? PoE 2 - Early Access Bug Reports
Known Issues " Quest, Balbala and Zarka are not needed in Act 5. Ignore the quest. If you need 3rd Ascendancy, then you need Djinn Barya with 3 trials lvl 60+. Djinn Barya can drop anywhere. Last edited by seaman#4993 on Apr 17, 2025, 8:59:20 PM

The only issue is when I attempt to travel to the Trial of the Sekhemas. in Act 5 it takes me to the Act II version.

This is not an issue. There is only one Trial of Sekhemas location and it is in Act 2. The trial level depends on the djinn barya level.
