Charater Login impossible - "Attempted to resume pathing action with an invalid skill..."

Suddenly within a map I received the following error message:

"Attempted to resume pathing action with an invalid skill: 2148073472 object: Metadata/Monster/MudBurrower/BrambleBurrower@77"

Now Iam unable to login with this charakter as he always trys to go back to the map and crashes with the same error message.

It would be great, if you could fix this error as otherwise I am unable to play this character.

Same issue here, but with "Etchedbeetles/SmallEtchedBeetleArmoured@32". My game crashed while taking a tp back to town and now I'm unable to log in with that char.

follow up on my previous post. I changed servers and it allowed me to log in. not sure if that was a fix or just coincidence

Thank you for this. I had the same issue and changing sever from Texas to Washington allowed me to play again.

I'm currently facing the exact same issue. Played a +3 map and before I could kill the map boss, my game crashed with the error message:
"Attempted to resume pathing action with an invalid skill: 2148073472
object:
Metadat/Monsters/SerpentClanMonster/SerpantClanCasterBossMap@67"
Every time I try to log back onto the character, the game crashed with the exact same error-message.
Tried to switch the servers from Frankfurt to Japan, Amsterdam and something in the US, but it didn't change anything regarding the error message.

Is there any way to unstuck my character from an endgame map?

Found the fix for the error.
Instaces reset after 15 minutes. Leave PoE2 turned off for 20 - 30 minutes, after that you should be able to log into it again.

Same issue here:

It was related to the error with the SmallEtchedBeetleArmored@32. Changing the server (Texas to Washington) worked. It has been about 8 hours since I played last so waiting 15-20 min for an instance to reset was not the issue I had.

Glad changing the server works at least...

Changing servers doesn't seem to affect the issue.
