Awkward adjacency in atlas

Notice how my current node is connected not to the node just across the water, but rather one node behind it. The node across the water is connected to the node just south of my current node. While technically the lines do mark the connections correctly, the fact that it's twisted like this (and one of the lines passes through a node without linking it) makes it look deceptive, especially when zoomed out.
