So... How much longer do we have to wait for the Mystery Box Content to make it to the Store?

Like, seriously, all these issues just keep piling up. Mystery Box content typically hits stores around 4 months after the league started, but Settlers has been going on for 9 months now. Average league duration of 4 months dictates we are 1 month overdue.

I'd like to buy the jellyfish portal, but I'm 100% not going to gamble at a 2.27-0.90% drop rate with a $5 price tag per box. I like it a lot, but I'm not insane enough nor do I have the funds to be able to afford to act this stupid.

How much more of this nonsense has to pile up before something's being done about it?

Mystery box temporary exclusives get added to the store as individual MTX approximately one month after the associated mystery box has been removed from the store - with the individual MTX being eligible for inclusion in Daily Deal discounts one month after that.

Just long enough for the eager youth to be impatient enough to gamble on the mystery boxes. You know, classic predatory, cash-grabbing design we find way too many places these days.

Looking at the most recently ended mystery boxes using your screenshot;

• The Necropolis mystery box was available for 118 days.
• The Affliction mystery box was available for 111 days.
• The Ancestor mystery box was available for 93 days.
• The Crucible mystery box was available for 150 days.
• The Sanctum mystery box was available for 118 days.

Mystery boxes are quite literally named after the challenge leagues they are intended to support. They have never had some independent duration - they start with their challenge leagues and end with the next's introduction. We are all, painfully, aware of the current league's duration.

Aye, it's a little inconsistent because the league duration somewhat varied in recent years, but around 4 months on the high end. I said 4 months because the 3 month cycle hasn't been true for a while now. That said, I really do not wish to wait 10 months longer than usual just to get my jellyfish portal... That's assuming that Settlers ends in a month (lol) and we wait the usual period for the boxes to hit the store.

I'm actually still enjoying the game so far. For the most part. Trading is pretty much dead, but yeah.
